wHatEver You aRe

Hello, Just popping in with a quick card... it seems like my schedule as of late has not permitted me to do quick shares lately as my job is very very busy lately.. but I stole a little time to create this.

I die cut a circle and placed it on my card and inked distress ink in old paper and tumbled glass off the mask to create the circle. I then removed the mask and and inked inside the circle. I used my water brush to create little circles to get it to look like the moon. I then stamped the broom in versa fine ink and embossed with clear powder and colored with my copic markers. The sentiment is from an old stamping up set of quotes. I thought it was very appropriate here :)

Less is more is a challenge I try to link up to often.. but I haven't got to play lately but this is the sketch for their challenge this week.

their theme is Clean and Simple

their key word is melt.. LOL but isn't that what happened to the wicked witch

hope you enJOYed
I know I did... I love to be in my craft room
I get a little witchy when I can't play

Life is better in flip flops

Life is better in flip flops... don't you agree? I mean think about it.. your toes are free to wiggle and breathe.. they are not shoved into shoes where they can't see the sun... and it probably means if your wearing flip flops.... you are not at work.

This is the SSS August card kit.. I have been getting these kits for a year now.. I wanted to increase my stamp collection and get to try new products as well and they always inspire me.

I masked off a strip embossed in clear the flip flops and then used 3 colors of Tim Holtz distress ink
1. Abandon Coral
2. Fossilized Amber
3. Mermaid Lagoon
I love how these inks blend you can use just 3 colors and get a rainbow effect.

I put glossy accents on the straps of the flip flops.

I hope you enJOYed

Smile

I am trying to catch up on all I learned in the online card class background check. It is a great class as all of them are. Remember this background I made? Colored paper. Emboss a background, cover in your favorite ink.

This is my card I turned it into

die cut the smile multiple times stack it up

then I layed the die and traced around and cut it out and put the die stack on top so it would highlight.

Layered a white piece of card stock

Then used a soft orange card stock to bring out the orange.

Hope you enJOYed and that it made you SMILE

Turn on the Twinkle

Sparkle is the challenge over at Happy Little Stampers. So here is my inspiration for you.

I stamped the image and the sentiment in Liquid Platinum embossing powder.. I love this embossing powder it is smooth when it melts, and in certain lights it looks gold, but it is definitely platinum.

I used my zig clean color real brush markers... they are fabulous... then used my zig wink of stella for the sparkle. The final step... glossy accents.... tip... let dry over night... ask me how I know. ;)

Turn on the TWINKLE... I layered it with DCWV bright glitter orange card stock.

There is some exciting news over at the Happy Little Stampers blog... go check it out!

Hope you enJOYed
